Butterflies this week

Hello everyone,

I hope you are enjoying the great weather this weekend and the final days of matzah-munching (for the Passover observers among us).  Monday is our last day off for some time (whew!) and when we return to class on Wednesday, we have lots of fun butterfly exploring activities planned.  Please see the attached Peek.

This week features two special events ... one of them is our next Tzedakah Drive.  We are collecting children's books (both new and gently used) to donate to those without books of their own.  Please bring your contributions on either Wednesday or Friday.

The second event is the monthly Tot Shabbat, which is Friday evening.  This is the Family Tot Shabbat Picnic, when hamburgers will be served but RSVP's are required ($8.50 per person).  RSVPs can be made via the Emanu El website at  www.emanuelhouston.org (to register for dinner).  Please call 713-535-6400 or email Tracey at traceyb@emanuelhouston.org for more information. Hope to see you there!

truly, Cathy & Elena

P.S.  Does anyone happen to have a 'toy butterfly' that we might borrow for the reading of "A Very Hungry Caterpillar" on Wednesday?
