Fall theme next week

Hello everyone,

First let me remind you that we have NO SCHOOL on Monday.  All the Becker teachers will be attending a Teacher In-Service held at a different location (so we won't even be in the building!).

Then let me say thank you to everyone for coming to our Parent-Teacher Conferences this past week.  Elena was sad to miss the conferences, but we are happy that she did not share her flu germs, right?  She is on the mend and should be back with us soon.

Next week we will begin exploring the Fall Season and already have some great pumpkins, gourds and corn to examine.  The plan is to hammer into a pumpkin or two, cut into a pumpkin and gourd, and .... well, I don't want to give it all away!  If you haven't sent a pumpkin or gourd or corn or other vegetable for us to destroy - errr, I mean explore! - send anytime.
