The Firetruck field trip!

Last month we have a visit from the Southside Place Fire Truck and Firemen. 
Here are a few memories....

... can be a little like herding cats!

Who wants to spray the hose?

  While many give it a try,

 others are content just to watch.

As you can see, the hose can spray wide or focus narrow -- Water is always tempting to play in, but this spray is far too powerful to let the children get wet (plus is was a chill of a day).

 Here are the six who dared climb into the firetruck.

More of our class may have been interested, but they had sounded the firetruck's siren just before this, and that wasn't well received by all!  It was very loud - bet you can imagine that!

It was a grand field trip (even if the fire fighters and firetruck came to us).
