That's the question I'll be wondering until I see 12 special smiling faces tomorrow morning!
I'm glad to say that I am almost back to 100% of normal (or maybe closer to 85% ?) Definitely planning to be back to my favorite group of Two & Three year olds tomorrow morning (unless something truly unforeseen flares up & prevents that).
I hope everyone is doing well, staying healthier than I was, and remembers to come in layers AND to bring plenty of extra clean, dry layers for us to have as back-ups. I believe the heat is still out. Fortunately the weather looks to be bright, sunny and a touch warmer -- closer to our usual Houston winter.
Do we dare play with melting ice? I think because both the virus that's been sweeping through our class and the heater issues in the building, that we'll hold off on the ice until later in the year. If you have frozen ice waiting to share with us, use it with your children at home: Use a big plastic bucket or bowl, a sink or the bathtub as the melting ice receptacle. Sound to cold or wet or just not ready to try this, wait and play with ice in the backyard once we have a true heatwave again (this summer - or spring - perhaps).
Dads (or grandpas or uncles or other special friends), remember next Wednesday morning plan to come to school for a little bit. I hope to get a group picture! Moms, you are most welcome to come as a stand-in too -- or I can use an extra Mom to take the group photo (I'll go charge my camera battery now!).
I can hardly wait to see everyone in the morning,
truly, Cathy
PS Anyone want my yogurt tubs of ice? I've got three ..... wonder if my sons would be interested in any ice experiments (2 typical teenage boys? probably not!)
