Welcome Back!

Hello All,

Our long Winter break is speedily coming to an end and I hope everyone has had a wonderful time with those you love -- are you ready to send your Toddlers back to school?

Our Becker doors open once more this coming Monday -- do I have a Snack Volunteer for this first day back?  Or another day this week?  The Snack Calendar will be posted outside our door as soon as I hear from our 4 January Birthday children (Parents - do you want to bring a special treat for the birthdays?  If I remember correctly, they are clustered near one another ...).

For the most part, all will be the same routine for our class -- although Hot Lunches will NOT Start this week, nor will the after-lunch extra programs (Jump Bunch & Gymnastics).

A few changes:  the room has been rearranged slightly to better accommodate the New Young Toddler class that begins this Tuesday.  We have also moved a few cubbies so that everyone in the new class will have their own cubby.  Serena & Sam are now the closest two cubbies to the door (once our teacher cubbies).  Ethan and Reese will be sharing one cubby (so that each child in the new class has a cubby -- hope you don't mind!).  Everyone else is in the same spot, or have scootched (a new word!) over one cubby closer to the door.  All are labelled the same as before.  If you have any questions or concerns -- I am always here and ready to adapt, change, or 'whatever' to work things out.

If you have any major news (potty, eating, napping, etc.) to share with Elena and I, we'd love a head's up before Monday.

Save the Date Reminders:  The week of January 21 is an unusual week for our class.  Becker is CLOSED on Monday, Jan. 21 in observance of Martin Luther King Jr Day.  Wednesday will be our special Father/Friends Breakfast (Dads or other family friends, plan to come this morning 8:30 -- 9:30-ish).  Friday is an early Noon Dismissal for all students as there is a Teacher In-Service that afternoon.
